It's the restless version of the sun, caught mid-turn.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe cut it from a single sheet of sterling silver using \u003cem\u003ecalado\u003c\/em\u003e, the pierced openwork technique Taxco silversmiths have used for generations. The negative space is cut away by hand, so what's left is a drawing in silver.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt the center sits a natural stone, hand-selected by us: \u003cstrong\u003epyrite\u003c\/strong\u003e, left uncut in its raw crystalline form, or \u003cstrong\u003emalachite\u003c\/strong\u003e, polished to show its banded greens.
