Tiger Eye & Obsidian Scarf Slide in Sterling Silver
The Tiger Eye & Obsidian Scarf Slide is an architectural .925 sterling silver slide set with natural tiger eye and obsidian, made by hand in our workshop in Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico.
Two stones, two temperatures: the warm golden banding of tiger eye against the depth of black obsidian — volcanic glass, and one of the oldest worked materials in Mexico.
The back carries a simple integrated silver loop, so a scarf slides through cleanly and drapes without slipping. We designed it to complement what you're wearing rather than take it over.

Questions
Are the stones natural? Yes — natural tiger eye and natural obsidian, cut by hand by our lapidary in Mexico. Every stone is different, so color and banding vary from one piece to the next.
What is obsidian? Volcanic glass. It forms when lava cools too fast to crystallize, and it has been worked in Mexico since long before the Spanish arrived — for mirrors, blades and ornament.
Will it slip off a silk scarf? No. The integrated loop grips the fabric while letting it drape.
